DVI Fiber Optic Extender: Enables Long Range Transmission of Digital DVI Display

Using fiber optic cables, a DVI Fiber Optic Extender transmits a digital DVI display signal up to 3,300 feet away from a computer. Each extender consists of a transmitter that connects to a computer and a receiver that connects to a monitor. The transmitter can be powered by the DVI port on the attached source device, eliminating the need for power supply installation. These transmitter and receiver units are housed in extremely compact DVI cable-type clamshell enclosures making them small form factor units allowing for easy connection and placement.
