How many pictures can you put on a 2GB Mini SD Card?
I just bought a 2 GB mini sd card for my verizon cellular device. I was planning on using it to transfer my pictures from my old phone, to my new one. Also, I was planning on putting music on it once I was done transferring pictures. So how many pictures and songs can I fit on the 2GB mini sd card? Approximate answers are welcome! Thank-you
It actually depends on the size of the pictures you intend to put in to the SD card. Since you haven't mentioned how many mega-pixels your new camera phone has at the moment, its going to be hard answering this question. Anyway I'll try my best.
1GB is 1024MB
So 2GB is: 1024MB X 2 = 2048MB
Suppose your camera-phone has 2megapixel camera. it means on average each picture will be 2MB.So you can hold approximately 1000 plus pictures, if only pictures.
if its songs and each song is 5MB estimated, you can probably hold 400 songs, if only songs.
