10 PTS! What do I use as a replacement battery for an APC 1500?
I have 5 APC battery backups and I need to replace the batteries in each of them. What model battery do I use? Please provide a link. First to get this to me gets 10 points!

Being these batteries are hooked up to servers that are currently running, I am not able to pull them. Thanks for the tip, smart ass.
You didn't tell us the exact model of your UPS, so I went with the first one I saw rated for 1500VA.
APC's own replacement battery is found at this link:

However, you should try Batteries Plus or a similar vendor near you, they'll probably provide the same part at a better price.
Most servers have hot-swappable dual power inputs - you should be able to pull one side of the power off each server to rotate the USBs in and out of the power loop for battery replacement.
Don't forget to recycle your old ones!

Battery Testers
If you sell batteries then you probably already know that your customers need to know when they buy a battery that it?s charged and fully functional and ready to go. After all, that?s the main purpose of having a battery in the first place. It?s important for customers whenever they buy any kind of battery, but it?s very important when customers are buying batteries to use in their Ups Battery backup systems. If you sell replacement batteries for UPS Battery Backup systems, the best way to prove to a customer that the batteries you are selling are high quality and fully functional is to test that battery for the customer using a good battery tester. Obviously if the person is ordering a battery from you over the Internet or the phone you can?t test the battery right in front of them, but it is still just good customer service to test that battery before handing it off to a customer. Testing a battery before selling the battery is also good protection for you. If a customer decides that he or she wants money back and says that the battery is faulty, you have already tested the battery and the customer knows it was working at the time you sold it. If you have proof that the battery was not defective when sold, then often you can protect yourself from credit card chargebacks or having to give a refund.
Whenever you sell a product like a battery that is only worth something if it works it?s a good idea to test the product before a customer tries it with an APC UPS backup battery tester. Sometimes batteries will be defective, or old, or will simply not work. That?s just part of doing business. But if you use a proven battery tester to test each battery before you put it out on the sales floor, then you can catch the batteries that don?t work and the batteries that have a low charge and keep them from getting into your customer?s hands. It?s better to pull a battery off the shelves then to leave it on the shelves and have to deal with an angry customer after it sells, the customer takes it home or to their office and finds out it doesn?t work. Chances are the customer won?t test the battery, but will just install it and you won?t find out that the battery was defective until the customer calls you angrily to tell you that the battery backup failed and the customer lost important data. No battery seller wants to have that happen. So your best bet is to test your batteries with a battery tester to be sure that doesn?t happen.
