Serial Interface
Can I buy a new tivo serial cable at a retail store, or maybe make one?
It will take 5-7 days to get one from tivo. I just changed my cable service to one where I need the serial interface to change channels on my cable box.
You can purchase one from the places listed by the other comments or you can make you own very easy if you can so lder. You just need a 1/8 mini stereo plug connection with wire (As with headphone jacks) and a 9-Pin Female Serial Cable .
