Which one is better, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 ghz or intel xeon quad core 3210 2.13 ghz?

Which one is better?
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 ghz OR intel xeon quad core 3210 2.13 ghz?
Kindly advise.
It depends on your usage. In gaming situations, the Core 2 Duo will win every single time. In single-threaded applications, the Core 2 Duo will win every single time. In 3D graphical rendering, the Core 2 Duo will win every single time.
In file archiving, number crunching, audio/video encoding/decoding, workstation tasks, etc, the Xeon will always come out on top.
As far as quad core CPUs go, though, the Xeon is the worst for standard home use as its designed to be a server CPU and not a gaming/normal use CPU.
For my purposes, I would go with the Core 2 Duo. The choice remains yours, however.
(Also, I get sick of people always saying Quad>>Duo. There's absolutely no numerical evidence or graphical evidence to back that up)
